Yesterday I asked people to give me five words for my next october writing challenge. I ended up with nine! Now, a little bit late, I present the finished product.

The words were: exhausted, confident, happiness, sunflower, commodity, freedom, challenge, cellar and exuberant.

The Commodity Broker stood upon the edge of the precipice, confident in his ability to fly. He’d accepted every challenge in life and now, exhausted from his escape from the cellar where he’d been held captive, he yearned for freedom from this life.

In one exuberant leap he jumped off the cliff in search of samsara, that one perfect moment of happiness. He was smiling as he hit the field of welcoming sunflowers bobbing in the breeze.
