Connections

the brown paper bag

tells its own grease-stained tale

trodden on by unheeding feet

the stripey pink sock

watches the unheeding feet pass by

yearning for the lost touch of skin

the abandoned hub cap

huddles against the stripey pink sock

glad to no longer have vertigo
