She’s lost her head
Off it went
Seeking adventure
Without that cumbersome
Body
Attached
Following rabbits
Into mysterious holes
In their alibis
Five kilometres wide
By mutual consent
Misconceptions
As desired
Overlooked
Left unnoticed
Oh!! She sighed
Before she cried
For her loss
She was her own boss
But her head kept on travelling
Heedless
Of her loss of pride
Or how she’d tried
To talk
Without
A mouth
Or mind
Then
Overnight
She did sprout
Another head
Upon the shoulders of her woes
It rose and rose
Her very own homunculus
Hitched a lift
As if she was a bus
An embryonic troublemaker
With a penchant
For a fuss
So here it sits
Slightly askew
A whole new point of view
Whilst her old head pursues Alice
This homunculus
Wreaks of malice
Toasts life
With a chalice
Of freshly
Siphoned
Blood
And
Nothing being denied
Lives
As if
It owns
Her palace
